Conceived for a concept 45th edition of the legendary Coutances festival, this visual identity meets a twofold objective: bringing cohesion to the program and optimizing the visitor journey for 60,000 attendees.
The identity is built around the concept of 'Blooming and Pollination.' This theme honors the local apple growing roots while serving as a metaphor for the festival itself: just as pollen spreads, the diverse musical styles diffuse and mingle, creating an immersive and participatory experience.
The logo uses a hexagonal structure to merge the city streets of Coutances with the imagery of a hive. This vibrant, organic aesthetic is applied across a modular signage system. By assigning a specific theme to each venue, such as germination, flowering, or pollination, the design creates an immersive journey that is intuitive and accessible for every festival-goer.
